Full Description

#WomenEd Guernsey was established in 2021, part of the wider global grassroots network and charity #WomenEd. This is our first in person event on the island and we really hope you can join us.

The evening will open with an introduction from Judith Divers (@MissDivers), Assistant Principal at LMDC High school. Following this, will be our first keynote speaker, Jenny Palmer (@Eliz_CollPrin), Principal at Elizabeth College, who notably oversaw the College's transition to co-education in September 2021. She will talk about her leadership journey and how she embraces equity in her leadership.

Following this, we will split into workshops of 25 minutes each with local facilitators, including Martine Ellis (@MartineGuernsey), productivity guru based at Guernsey Institute and Lucy Kirby (@lucyannkirby) from Digital Greenhouse Guernsey. There will be two sessions.

To end our event, we will hear from Danielle Harford-Fox, Principal of Ladies' College. She is a champion of women and leading innovative education to equip young leaders of the future.

You can find details of all of our speakers on LinkedIn, as well as details of #WomenEd. Whilst you are on there, do follow our campaign page.

We really hope you can join us at this exciting launch event where we will celebrate International Women's Day and empower you wherever you are on your leadership journey.
